The Children, Families and Skills Scrutiny Committee approved recommendations on 15/05/2024. The committee agreed to invite parent/carers of SEND children to regular SEND Forums, create a unique record for each child, consider digitising EHCPs and sharing best practice from Lancashire schools through Twilight Inset sessions, use Key Performance Indicators for SEND provision progress, and use IEPs, SEN Support monitoring, and exclusion monitoring to reassure parents about support for children without an EHCP.
