Outer East Community Committee

The Outer East Community Committee is responsible for making decisions about local services and priorities within the Crossgates & Whinmoor, Garforth, Kippax & Methley, and Temple Newsam areas of Leeds. It holds public meetings and workshops to discuss local issues, allowing residents to influence decisions on environmental improvements, community safety, health, wellbeing, and employment.

The committee also allocates funding annually to community projects and youth activities, offering both small grants (up to £1,000 per ward) and larger grants (over £1,000 in a single ward).
