Further to the request for a single tender for
the S278 Highway Works Associated with the Development at Land off
Gelderd Road, Gildersome DDN approved on the 31st October 2023. The
Chief Officer (Highways and Transportation) approved the
recommendation to award the S278 Gelderd Road (Access 2) Gildersome
Highway Improvement Contract to R Bunton Ltd with an estimated
value of £275,362.20 for a 12 week period from the 14th
November 2024 to the 6th February 2025. The original report for
this scheme is attached as an appendix.
