Purpose

The decision is for an agreement for lease for
Hamara for the site known as Old Cockburn Sports Hall. The site is
already subject to a lease to Hamara for 25 years, commencing 2017.
The decision is to agree the principle of a new 99-year ground
lease to Hamara to facilitate enhanced plans and offer through the
proposed re-development plans for the site, which includes the
demolition of the current building and
the construction of a new purpose built two-storey community
building.
