Purpose

Request to award a contract from 1 January
2026 to 31 March 2027.
Leeds has been part of the DfE funded Step Up
to Social Work programme for training Social Workers for over 12
years, this is the 9th cohort. For the procurement of the last
cohort Leeds became the lead partner for West and north Yorkshire
Step Up Partnership including Wakefield, Bradford, Kirklees,
Calderdale and North Yorkshire.
Salford University is the incumbent provider
with the contract due to end 31 March 2025.
Recruitment activities will commence during
March 2025.
The anticipated maximum number of students
participating in this programme is 35.
