Purpose
Re-procurement of the Merchant Acquiring
Services contract which enables Leeds City Council to receive
income via card payments. The value of the contract over 4 years is
approximately £1.3 million. The services are required to
enable the council to continue to collect revenue by debit or
credit card through the full range of channels currently utilised
throughout the Council and are therefore essential to the effective
operation of Council services.

The Director of Strategy and
Resources has approved the award of the
contract to Worldpay Limited for a period of 3 years + 12 month
extension commencing on 1st April 2025.
With a total basket price estimated of £456,856.94
p.a. Over the length of the contract an estimated
value of £1,827,427.76. The
award will be by direct call off from an existing Crown Commercial
Services (CCS) framework arrangement ‘Payment Acceptance
2’ (RM6325) Lot 1 including Merchant acquiring, Payment
gateway, APM and PISP services and/or Payment equipment.
