Purpose
Leeds City Council has been a long-time
customer of Totalmobile, originally implementing Totalrepairs
across the business. In 2020, after a market review, the Council
signed a five-year contract to migrate from Totalrepairs to
Totalmobile Connect. In 2023, the Protect (Lone Worker) solution
was added to the contract.
With the current contract expiring in June
2025, discussions have been ongoing since January 2024 to explore
renewal options.
Current Solutions in Use by Leeds Building
Services:
Connect: Core Work Order
Management system handling Reactive, Voids, Planned, and Compliance
work.
Mobilise: Mobile work
management app used by field operatives in Leeds Building Services.
Also used by the Cleaning team for mobile fire risk
inspections.
Protect (Lone Worker):
Solution rolled out for Leeds Building Services field
operatives.
Why we would like to renew with
Totalmobile:
In 2020, Leeds was Totalmobile's
largest Connect customer, and the product was still in early
development. Leeds received competitive pricing and discounts in
recognition of this.
Since then, Totalmobile has heavily
invested in product development, now serving over 100 customers,
including 42% of the top 50 housing providers, and managing over 1
million homes.
Many system improvements have been
driven by Leeds City Council’s feedback, strengthening the
strategic partnership. Leeds plays a key role in
Totalmobile’s customer groups, shaping future
development.
Content
Direct Award under Section 41 and Schedule 5,
paragraph 6 of the Procurement Act 2023 to directly award a
contract to Totalmobile Ltd for the contract renewal of the Connect
solution. This is for continuation of the same services with the
current supplier for the access to Connect for the next 5 (10)
years by entering a contract with Totalmobile Ltd.
The Totalmobile Connect application is
supplied by Totalmobile has been developed and designed closely
with similar building service operations to Leeds Building Services
(LBS). The product is dashboard led, reports and batch processes
are purposely kept out of the system.
