Purpose

The deterioration in the condition of the roof
at the Torre Road depot is such that this now represents a health
and safety risk, with significant water ingress impacting on the
operational service. Completing a competitive procurement and
engaging a contractor to undertake roof replacement works has now
become a matter of urgency. A procurement process is therefore now
proposed and this represents forward notification of a decision
expected to be taken in January 2025 to award a contract for
completion of these works.

recommendations set out in the report attached with effect
from the decision date.
