Purpose

Brief Description

The current contract
for the provision of the Information, Advice and Support Service
for unpaid adult and parent carers in Leeds expires on
31st March 2025. A decision will be taken regarding the
procurement of this service.

service and therefore impacts all wards across the city.

Financial and
procurement implications

The current annual
value of the contract is £1,377,483
A proposed future contract will be at a length of 5 years plus up
to 3 years extension, with therefore a full potential expenditure
over 8 years of £11,019,864. This contract includes funding
from both LCC and the ICB.

Partnership
working

Leeds City Council is
the lead commissioner of the current contract for the provision of
Information, Advice and Support Service for unpaid adult and parent
carers in Leeds, which will remain the case for the proposed future
contract. The Council will work closely with relevant funding
partners, key stakeholders and the provider.
