Purpose

Brief Description

To seek approval from
the Director of Adults and Health to modify the current contract
with The Advonet Group to deliver the provision of Advocacy Support
and Services, to award for a further 24 months from 1st
April 2026.
 
The current contract
with The Advonet Group expires on 31st March 2026, with
no further extensions available within the current contract.

Impact On Wards

The provision of
Advocacy Support and Services covers the entire city of Leeds,
providing statutory and community support across all wards. This
decision will ensure continuity of provision whilst wider work
takes place both locally and nationally.

Financial and
procurement implications

The proposed decision
involves modifying a contract, in accordance with Regulation 72(1)
(b) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
The current value is
£1,266,972.55 per annum, totalling £2,533,945.10 for 24
months.
 
To ensure
sustainability going forward, an uplift of £38,009 per annum
(£76,018 in total) will be applied to contract for the next 2
years.

Partnership
working

Leeds City Council is
the lead commissioner of the current contract with The Advonet
Group to deliver the provision of Advocacy Support and Services.
The Council will work closely with relevant funding partners, key
stakeholders and the provider.
