• The Director of Adults and Health has
approved the re-purposing of one unit of accommodation at the
Oakwood Hall mental health residential service from
respite/prevention into residential.
• The Director of Adults and Health has noted the findings of
a review of mental health respite provision in Leeds, including
consultation undertaken with Oakwood Hall respite/prevention
service users and Social Work colleagues.
• The Director of Adults and Health has approved a 2-year
direct contract award to Inspire North for one new unit of mental
health respite/prevention accommodation at Oakwood Hall, utilising
a spare room within the building. This is to commence on the 1st of
November 2025 and ending 31st October 2027, at an annual cost of
£53,982 (ex VAT) (to be split funded 50:50 with the West
Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), therefore costing the
Council £26,991 per annum) leading to a total contract value
of £107,964.00 (ex VAT) in line with the provisions of
section 7 pertaining to High Value Procurements and Appendix 5:
Justifiable Direct Awards of the Contract Procedure Rules
