Purpose

To accept DfE funding of £1,248,079.30
for the staying close pilot 25/26. This will allow the continuation
of the current Staying Close Pilot, within corporate parenting to
run from 01/01/2026 – 31/12/2026. The project aims to work
with vulnerable care leavers leaving residential care to ensure
better outcomes and a smother transition into adulthood as the
continued funding of the drop in Hub and services for care leavers
as well as a dedicated program of support and activities for care
leavers.
