Purpose

The DfE has made available grant funding to
continue the Leeds SAFE Taskforce. The taskforce was originally
established in 2022 as part of the cross-government approach to
reducing serious youth violence.
From 2022 to 2025 Leeds received total grant
funding of £3,376,900.
For this second phase of the taskforce, Leeds
will receive £738,966. We will receive this funding through a
section 31 grant, which can be used for delivery between September
2025 – August 2026.
Delivery will be secured via three
workstreams:
•  AIP
based Education Inclusion Mentors
• 
Extension to Life Coaching Offer
• 
Extension to Family Hub based Youth Violence interventions
(Startline & 90 Minute
Projects)
