Purpose
Re-procurement of the Banking Services
contract which enables Leeds City Council to maintain the provision
of a bank account and the associated banking services essential for
an organisation the size of Leeds City Council. The value of the
contract over 8 years depends on levels of activity but is
approximately £1m in total. The services are required to
enable the council to maintain a bank account, receive and make
payments to counter-parties and is essential for the
Council’s Treasury Management function and the reconciliation
of the Council’s cash position. The proposed procurement
approach is to use the NEPO framework agreement NEPO531 General
Banking Services 1.0 which became available from the end of June
24.
