Decision to make a direct award
for the supply of temporary agency workers to REED Specialist
Recruitment Ltd – who are our current provider. This contract
would be made using a national framework contract established by
Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation Managing Recruitment and Resourcing Framework
1140(‘The YPO framework’) which is compliant with UK
procurement legislation and was procured under the Public Contracts
Regulations 2015.
The contract is
for an estimated value of £12m pa and would be subject to
break clauses and annual cost bench marking to ensure value for
money over its four year duration. In
making a direct award, the benefits that will arise from retaining
our existing supplier will outweigh potential competitive
advantages by engaging other providers in a mini competition
exercise.
