Purpose

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local
Government (MHCLG) have informed Leeds City Council of funding
being made available to LCC for 2026-29. A Key decision will be
required to receive the grant and allocate for the purposes agreed
with MHCLG in a timely way through internal spend, grants and
variations to existing contracts.
The grant will cover revenue expenditure for a
variety of interventions which will assist the city to deliver its
ambitions to prevent homelessness and reduce the numbers of people
who are rough sleeping.
