Purpose
Brief Description
Leeds
City Council has a duty under Section 48 of the Care Act 2014 to
meet the needs of adults with care and support requirements for a
long as necessary if a regulated provider becomes unable to carry
out their activities due to business failure.
In
exercising this duty, Leeds City Council is providing a maximum
£1.5m loan to an Adult Social Care provider at significant
risk of business failure.
