Purpose

Seeking approval to carry out a procurement
exercise to appoint up to 3 contractors to support LBS with the
delivery of civic and commercial roofing responsive repairs and
planned schemes. The framework will be for a 4-year period. The
total contract value is approximately £2,400,000.

Content

a) 
In accordance with the Council’s Contract Procedure Rules,
this report requested the Deputy Chief Executive approve a
procurement strategy based on an estimated annual contract spend of
£520,000 to appoint up to 2 contractors for the delivery of
responsive roofing repairs to the Council’s civic and
commercial property portfolio located throughout the city, for an
initial 2-year period with an option to extend for up to 24 months,
and with an estimated total contract value of up to
£2,080,000.
 

b) 
The Deputy Chief Executive noted that the evaluation criteria will
be predetermined and approved as an Administrative Decision as
required under the Contract Procedure Rules.
