a) The Director of Communities, Housing &
Environment approved the direct award of a new contract under
Regulation 32(2)(b)(ii) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015
(PCRs) for the Outsourcing of woodland Creation to appoint two
providers; Thorpe Trees Limited and Tilhill Forestry Limited.

b) The contract will commence in December 2023 and shall end on
30th September 2027.

c) The total contract value is £465,186 to deliver the
outsourcing of Woodland Creation for the planting and establishment
management of young woodlands across the city to deliver city
targets for climate change and zero carbon.

d) To terminate the current contract, 54364 Outsourcing Woodland
Creation, with Thorpe Trees Limited and Tilhill Forestry Limited
since this new contract will supercede it.
