Purpose

To put in place contractual arrangements for
the Council’s Microsoft Enterprise Agreement which is due to
expire 30th September 2023.

Content

The Director of Strategy & Resources
authorised that the Council: Award a call off contract to Bytes
Software Services Ltd under the Councils Software Framework
(LCCITS190020) and enter a new three year Microsoft Enterprise
Agreement from the 1st October 2023. The value of the
agreement is approx. £10,500,000 in total. The decision
includes uplifting remaining M365 E3 licenses to E5. Commit to the
utilisation of existing revenue budgets for the costs of the
services acquired under this agreement.
