Purpose

Leeds City Council is asked to provide
recoverable grant assistance to Leeds Culture Trust to cover claims
to HMRC for both Theatre Tax Relief and Museums and Galleries
Exhibition Tax Relief for financial years 2022-23 and
2023-24.  This will allow Leeds Culture
Trust to maximise the amount of funding they can invest in the Year
of Culture programme in-year.
Executive Board is asked to make the decisions
exempt from Call In due to the short timeframe for providing grant
assistance.
