Purpose
Decision to release Staying Close grant funds
provided by the DfE to deliver Staying Close support to care
leavers in Leeds.

The Director of
Children and Families agreed to:
Accept
Department of Education Funds to implement Staying Close Pilot in
Leeds. Funding totals £2,442,053.25 over two
years.
Employ
to seconded roles on a two-year secondment basis as
follows;
o
3 Staying Close Personal Advisors at Grade
C3
o
2 Hub Personal Advisors at grade C3
o
Team Manager at grade P06
o
Service Delivery Manager at 45% Director
JNC
o
Therapeutic Social Worker at grade P03
o
Senior administrator 0.5 FTE at grade C3
Regrade 2 Personal Advisor positions to Senior Personal Advisors
at grade S02
Delivery of an accommodation fund, preparation for independence
fund and residential staff outreach costs for the duration of the
pilot
Funding towards P06 team manager cover for Care leavers team
Four between 01.06.2023 to the 16.09.2023.
Provide funding to the Communities, Housing and Environment
Directorate to allow for the employment of 2 Housing Advisors at grade S02 for a period of
two years
