Purpose

This report seeks authority to
spend the funding for 2023/24 included within the Capital Programme
for improvement works across the Council’s estate including
delivery of the annual and backlog maintenance programmes, fire
risk/prevention works and door access systems works.

Content

The Director of Communities,
Housing and Environment has given authority to spend the
£7.46m funding for 2023/24 included within the approved
Capital Programme for improvement works across the Council’s
estate including delivery of the annual maintenance (£0.96m)
and backlog maintenance (£3.5m) programmes, fire
risk/prevention works (£2.5m), and door access system works
(£0.5m).
