The Director of Children and Families has
taken the following decisions in order to increase Leeds City
Council’s Independent Travel Training (ITT) offer:

a) Create 8 x ITT Travel Buddy posts (8 x 0.5fte, B3) on a two-year
fixed-term contract.

b) Create 1 x ITT Delivery Manager (PO4) on a two-year fixed-term
contract to strategically oversee the development and delivery of
ITTand lead on a traded offer for ITT Train the Trainer
accreditation.

c) Realign the role of ITT Coordinator (SO1) from Civic Enterprise
Leeds (CEL) to Children & Families and assign budget to the
role.

d) A concurrent internal and external recruitment process is
followed, in line with the Council’s recruitment policy to
fill these posts.
