Purpose

The Director of Resources is requested to
approve the competitive tender procurement activity to appoint a
contractor to supply Cleaning Material across the Authority. The
contract duration is proposed to be for 4 (2 +1 +1). The estimated
value of the contract is £3.6m (£900k per annum).

Content

The
Director of Strategy and Resources has approved the commencement of
a procurement exercise to secure a contract for the supply of
cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment.
 
The
contract is due to commence on the 15th February 2024 for a period of 2
years, with 2 12-month options to extend.  The cost of this procurement exercise is estimated
at £900k per annum and with the proposed extension the
anticipated spend of the contract is estimated at
£3.6m.
