Purpose

The creation of a Children’s
Transformation Service is critical to the successful delivery
of all Children & Families invest to save change
projects and budget savings proposals. The directorate requires
capacity to drive the implementation of its change agenda, through
robust project and programme management, which the Transformation
Service will provide.  The new service
proposal has formed part of Executive Board considerations
(December 2022) of directorate level actions to prepare for setting
of the 2023/24 budget.

Content

The Director of Children & Families agreed
to:
a)  Note the contents of
the attached report; and
b)  Approve the creation
of a new Transformation & Partnerships Service, as per the
roles detailed at appendix 1.
