The Chief Officer, Culture and Economy has approved an award of
100% rates relief to MAXIMUS UK  for 1
year only. This was to enable MAXIMUS UK to commence at pace with
their plans to expand their call centre in Leeds and create 50 new
jobs in the city.

Rate relief of £35,419 was approved for the 23/24 financial
year. The cost of issuing rates relief to a business is split
between the Council and Central Government. So, by giving the
business £35,419 the actual cost to the Council is
£17,709.50.
