The Chief Officer, Highways and
Transportation:

• gave authority to request the City Solicitor to advertise
the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (Movement Order or
Waiting Restriction Order) as required to address/ resolve the
problems identified for the scheme as detailed in Appendix A,
(detailing restrictions in phase 1 and Phase 2) and to include a
provision within any Order to enable the Chief Officer (Highways
and Transportation) to modify or suspend the operation of the Order
or any of its provisions during the period of the experiment if it
appears to him to be essential to do so
Approve the design and implementation of phase one proposals as
shown in Appendix A; and

• acknowledged the phase two options identified in Appendix A
and seek approval to implement any modifications considered
necessary as a consequence of monitoring the experimental
order
