Decision

The Chief Officer for Climate Energy and Green Spaces approved the authority to spend £2,753,400 to deliver the Woodland Creation Initiative across the city over three financial years up to March 2029. This is based on the cost of £3 per tree and the delivery of the ambition to increase tree planting and make habitat improvements supporting biodiversity including, grassland management and maintenance. This will require a capital investment from the council.
