Decision

The Director of Strategy & Resources approved the award of a contract to Motus Group (UK) Limited (“the Supplier”) for the purchase of sixty eight (68) electric Ford transit courier panel vans and twelve (12) diesel Ford transit courier panel vans to replace old vehicles pursuant to Leeds City Council’s (“the Council”) approved Fleet Replacement Programme (“FRP”) 2024/25 and 2025/26.

The replacement vehicles will be utilised by the following Council service departments and teams: Leeds Community Equipment Services and Telecare, Resources Cleaning and Facilities Management, Climate, Energy and Green Spaces, Highways, Fleet Services, Parking Services, Leeds Building Services, Passenger Transport Services and Integrated Digital Service.

This report demonstrates the tender process undertaken and results from the recent procurement exercise utilising the Council’s approved third-party vehicle supply Framework, The Procurement Partnership Ltd (“TPPL”).
