Purpose

Approval will be sought to accept the 2024/25
allocation of the Local Stop Smoking Services and Support Grant
from the Office of Health Improvement & Disparities.

Content

The Director of Public Health :
Accepted £985,430 from the Office of
Health Improvement and Disparities via the Local Stop Smoking
Services and Support Grant for the period 1st April 2024
to 31st March 2025.
Note that a report will be submitted for the
approval of the expenditure of this grant. All
of the decisions, regardless of value, will be a direct
consequence of this key decision and will therefore be a
significant operational decision at most, which will not be subject
to call in.
