a) The Chief Officer, Highways &
Transportation noted the content of this report and approved a
contract extension period of 12 months and an increase in the value
relating to:
a. West Yorkshire (WY) Cloud Hosted Urban Traffic Control (UTC)
contract.
Utilising Regulation 72(5) and 72 (6) of the Public Contracts
Regulations 2015 (PCR) on the grounds set out at paragraphs 11 to
14 of this report, the contract with Swarco UK & Ireland Ltd
shall be modified accordingly, with the modification commencing on
9th September 2024 for a period of 12 months.
b) The cost of extending the contract for a further year is
estimated at £88,768.
c) The new contract expiry date will be 8th September
2025.
