Purpose

To approve the use of Affordable Housing
Commuted Sums Grant Funding to support a Registered Provider to
deliver new affordable homes at St Cecilia Street.

Content

 
 The Chief Officer
Asset Management & Regeneration is requested to approve and
grant authority to the following, subject to full planning approval
and acquisition of the site being completed:
a) The spend of affordable housing
commuted sums grant funding up to £1,440,894 to support the
delivery of a 100% affordable scheme by L&GAH of 78 new homes
for social rent at St Cecilia Street in the Little London and
Woodhouse ward and;
 
b) For the Council to enter into a
grant agreement and nominations agreement with L&GAH on the
terms set out in this report.
 
In addition, the decision maker approves the
decisions set out below:
 
To restrict public access to Exempt Appendices
1 and 2 due to the confidential nature of the information contained
within them. Further details relating to these specific exemptions
are set out within the attached report.
