Director of Public Health has -

a) Retrospectively approved the allocation of £187,500 as a
contract variation (payment in instalments) to the Tobacco
Dependency Service (52642) provided by Reed Wellbeing Ltd for
additional stop smoking provision from 1st July 2024 to 31st March
2025. This will be done as a modification to this contract under
the provision of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection
Regime Regulations) 2023 (PSR).

b) Retrospectively approved the direct award of a contract, under
the PSR Most Suitable Provider Process to Leeds & York
Partnership Foundation NHS Trust to provide the Leeds Stop Smoking
Service (Mental Health) for a period of 9 months commencing 1st
July 2024 at a cost of £370,000.

c) Retrospectively approved the direct award of a contract, under
the PSR Most Suitable Provider Process, to Leeds Teaching Hospitals
NHS Trust to provide stop smoking support through the in-house
midwifery team for the period of 1st July 2024 to 31st March 2025
at a cost of £36,500.

d) Retrospectively approved the transfer of £209,000 to the
West Yorkshire Integrated Commissioning Board under the provision
of Section 76 of the National Health Service Act 2006, for the
provision of stop smoking services within primary care in the
period 1st July 2024 to 31st March 2025.
