The Chief Officer Civic Enterprise Leeds
approved a:
Contract award to Integrated Utility Services Ltd for
£294,634.74 following
confirmation of funding from the client.
The work will upgrade the electrical transformer at Woodhouse Lane
carpark and increase the electric supply to the building.
This proposal is a long-term capital investment to improve the
facilities at the car park to make them complaint with statutory
requirements and allow for additional voltage capacity which will
allow for additional electrical charging points to be
available.
These works will contribute towards Zero Carbon as the addition of
more electrical charging points to be available in the city
promotes electric vehicle usage and will encourage residents of
Leeds to utilise electric vehicle facilities.
