The City Mayor decided to approve the disposal of the ground lease interest of the Holiday Inn, St Nicholas Circle, Leicester, LE1 5LX, on 15 July 2026. The decision was to sell to the hotel operator, MCAP Global Finance (UK) LLP, for £1.8m plus a £20,000 contribution towards council professional fees. The Director of Estates and Building Services approved the valuation, and the City Barrister and Head of Standards Division will prepare necessary documentation.
