It was MOVED, SECONDED and RESOLVED:
 

To approve a procurement process for an
organisation able to provide Principal Designer (Building
Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) service ensuring full
compliance with the duty holder’s responsibilities and with
the Building Regulations and Building Safety Act 2022.
To approve that the council proceeds with a competitive
procurement process to appoint suitably qualified
consultants.
To approve procurement of contracts estimated (see Part 2
of this report) over a 7-year period, which will be charged to the
Housing Revenue Account Capital Programme.
To approve that the Council proceeds with a competitive
procurement process to appoint suitably qualified
consultants.  The procurement will adhere to
the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, ensuring
transparency, value for money, and alignment with strategic
objectives.
To delegate to the Executive Director of Housing
(in consultation with Director of Law and Corporate
Governance, the Head of Stock Investment & Asset Management
(SIAM) and the Head of Building Safety) to select the preferred
contractors in accordance with the award criteria published in the
tender documentation and agree final form of contract to appoint
the preferred contractors.
