That the report be
noted.

·         That once the exercise on lessons learnt is
completed the outcome should be communicated to members – and
more broadly across the Council, to ensure that everyone could
learn from it and improve future engagement activities.

·         That increased integration of transport modes
(particularly around railway  stations) would be welcome. It was recommended
that a comprehensive programme of potential projects around
stations should be produced - to enable engagement with councillors
and to prioritise future transport improvements.

·         That further information should be circulated
about the options for highlighting areas in need of additional
enforcement action regarding pavement parking.

·         That it should be made clear how streets could
request a repeat consultation through the sustainable streets
programme.

·         That information on opportunities for cycle
training should be circulated.
