It was MOVED, SECONDED and RESOLVED
 

(i)       To
note the decision of the Council Urgency Committee on 14th October
2024.
(ii)
     To note that 16 vacant flats
are due to be handed back to the Council via a deed of surrender
and are being brought in to use as temporary accommodation.
(iii)
     To note the ongoing
discussions with Lewisham Homes Limited regarding the future
management of the flats, and that Lewisham Homes are likely to
shortly commence a procurement exercise to appoint managing agents
for the flats.

(iv)     To agree to delegate
authority to the Executive Director of Housing, in consultation
with the Executive Director of Finance, Digital and Corporate
Resources and the Director of Law and Corporate Governance to enter
into the most optimal leasing arrangement for the flats, taking
into account the future redevelopment of Catford.
