Purpose

This report relates to the
preparation of a neighbourhood plan covering Mavesyn Ridware Parish
which has recently been the subject of a formal examination by an
Independent Examiner.
 
The examiner of the Mavesyn
Ridware neighbourhood plan is recommending that, subject to several
modifications being made to the plan, it can proceed to referendum.
The district council is now required to consider the
recommendations in the examiner’s report and, should it
consider it appropriate to do so, progress the neighbourhood plan
to its referendum by issuing a Decision Statement (Appendix
A).
 
This report proposes that,
subject to the modifications set out in the Decision Statement,
that Mavesyn Ridware neighbourhood plan progresses to
referendum.

Decision

The Cabinet Member for Housing & Local
Plan approved to making the modifications as set out within the
‘Decision statement regarding Mavesyn Ridware
neighbourhood plan proceeding to referendum’ (hereafter the
decision statement) to the Mavesyn
Ridware neighbourhood plan, to enable
the plan to proceed to its referendum following the publication of
the decision statement.
 
The Cabinet Member for Housing & Local
Plan approved the publication of the decision statement on the
district council's website.
