Purpose
Shenstone Parish Council have
prepared a review of their existing neighbourhood plan. The
reviewed Shenstone Neighbourhood Plan has progressed through all
the required stages of preparation, including independent
examination.

concluded that the plan proposes material modifications that do not
change the nature of the made plan. As such, the plan was examined
but does not require a referendum.
The examiner recommended a
number of modifications and concluded that, subject to these
changes, the reviewed plan meets the basic conditions and should be
made. Following independent examination, it was concluded that the
Shenstone neighbourhood plan should be ‘made’
(adopted).
The purpose of this report is
to formally ‘make’ (or adopt) the Shenstone
Neighbourhood Plan (Appendix A) within the required
timeframe.
Decision
The Cabinet Member for Housing & Local
Plan agreed to the adoption of the Shenstone Neighbourhood
Plan.
The Cabinet Member agreed to the publication
of the ‘made’ Shenstone Neighbourhood Plan (Appendix A)
and the decision statement (Appendix B).
