council to apply for a Designated Protected Areas (DPA) Waiver from
Homes England for 11 additional units on the site at Arkall Farm
Tamworth 14/00516/OUTMEI. The site is located within the parish of
Whittington and Streethay.   This
report details the reasons for Bromford requesting this waiver and
the negative impact the DPA will have on the prospective shared
ownership owners. It recommends that the authority accepts this
request for the waiver and applies to Homes England to waive the
DPA conditions that apply to this site.

the waiver on the DPA and for an application to be made with Homes
England, which will lead to the delivery of 11 additional
affordable homes on this development.

2. That the Policy and Strategy Manager
submits an application to Homes England to request a waiver of
conditions related to grant funded shared ownership housing on this
site.
