Purpose

To award a contract to Civica
UK Ltd with a value of £353,792 for the Councils Finance
Management System.

Decision

2.1       The current contract
with Civica UK Ltd for the Councils finance system was for 4 years
from 03/11/2020 to 02/11/2024 following a call-off from a PCR2015
compliant third-party framework.
2.2       For
business-critical continuity the Council will be continuing with
the same solution. Not only will this mitigate the requirement to
pay any supplier onboarding fees, but there is also no requirement
for implementation services, set up or consultancy as included in
the last agreement.
2.3       The new contract
term will be for 4 years taking effect from 03/11/2024 –
02/11/2028.
2.4       Although there has
been an increase in contract value as a result of indexation over
the previous term. The Council have managed to get approval to
remove £5k per annum out of the proposed costs (taking the
total contract value down from an initial price of £373,793
to £353,792).
