Purpose

This film will be created to give educational
advice and warning on the impact of groundwater.
JBA Consulting created and developed the BeFloodReady brand and
provides ongoing technical and commissioning-client support to
Aardman to develop the creative content of BeFloodReady branded
outputs. JBA manage the film commission for the commissioning
client, including IPR compliance, from inception to delivery. JBA
support all key steps including: Treatment and idea development,
script and thumbnails, feedback and approvals, storyboard,
animatics, character design, background design, asset build, 2D
animation, composite, music composition, voice over recording,
final mix and layback, final delivery, grade, and final delivery
(graded film).
The film is being funded by all three Project Groundwaters (Greater
Lincolnshire, Northumbria and Chiltern Downs and
Buckinghamshire).
The total cost of awarding the additional work package for this
contract is £130,249 plus vat of which LCC will pay
£54,124.50, Northumbria Council will pay £54,124.50 and
Buckinghamshire council will pay £22,000. The payments from
Northumbria and Buckinghamshire councils will be direct to
Lincolnshire County Council following completion of the film and
full payment by Lincolnshire County Council.
