Decision
1.
That the outcome of the previous procurement and the decision by
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) as
commissioners not to award in line with the outcome of that
procurement due to a change in its commissioning needs and budgets
be noted.
2.
That the Council be authorised to conduct a new procurement process
in compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 on behalf of LCHS,
using the Open Procedure for the provision of a maximum of 35
Transitional Care Beds funded wholly by LCHS at a maximum total
cost of £1,035,801 for the period 1 August 2025 to 31 July
2026 inclusive.
3.
That authority be delegated to the Executive Director of Adult Care
and Community Wellbeing (in consultation with LCHS and the
Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Public Health) to agree the
outcome of the procurement process, approve the form of contract(s)
and the enter into the final contract(s) on behalf of the Council
with the successful bidders.
