Purpose

The minor amendment is made to achieve greater
clarity of the application of the definition.

Decision

Approval of minor amendments to Article 10 of
the Constitution as shown highlighted below and in the Appendix to
confirm and clarify that the Council’s financial threshold
for a key decision remains as: “a decision which is likely to
result in expenditure or the making of savings of £500k and
above and for the purposes of the statutory definition of a key
decision expenditure or savings below the said figure shall not be
taken as significant.”
