Full council record

Purpose

• Following concerns raised by residents
of Ancaster Avenue regarding vehicles parking illegally within the
permit bays and obstructing traffic flow, is it proposed to
introduce additional double yellow lines to replace four of the
existing parking spaces between vehicular accesses. This will
maintain space for traffic flow throughout the cul de sac, and
mimic a chicane effect to reduce speeds.
• Therefore, it is proposed to prohibit waiting as set out on
the plans to the Order.
• The Chief Constable and City of Lincoln Council have been
consulted, along with other local groups/companies.
