Purpose

The changes made are to provide greater
clarity for members in responding to complaints by requiring
complainants to specifically identify which paragraphs of the Code
of Conduct a complaint is brought under. The current provisions
allude to this requirement, but the minor changes accentuate this
requirement thereby making the process clearer and hopefully more
efficient.

The wording in bold has been added to section 3 of the complaint
form:

3. Please provide us with the name of the member(s) you believe
have breached the Code of Conduct and the paragraph of the Code
that you believe has been breached. You can refer to the Code of
Conduct to help identify the paragraphs to reference on this
complaint form.

Consequent wording has been made to the Arrangements in like terms
to ensure consistency.

Decision

Approval of changes to the Code of Conduct
complaints form and consequential changes to the Standards
Arrangements, Part 5 of the Constitution.
