Decision

That the continued
application of the National Funding Formula (NFF) in the
development of the County Council’s mainstream schools
funding, and the following steps to address the affordability gap
when adopting the NFF for mainstream schools for 2024/25, be
approved:
 
1.   
To reduce the Schools Growth funding budget within the Schools block from £2.674m (funded by central
government through a formulaic allocation using prior school level
growth data) to £1.438m, and the remaining amount of
£1.236m to support the adoption of the NFF.

 
2.   
Age Weighted Pupil Unit (AWPU) funding before -0.072% below the
Government 2024/25 NFF values when adopting the NFF for
2024/25.
