Decision

1.   
That the procurement via the open tender procedure of new contracts
for the provision of haulage of household waste recycling centres
(HWRC) exit waste streams with effect from 1 April 2024, be
approved.

 
2.   
That authority be delegated to the Executive Director –
Place, in consultation with the Executive Councillor for Waste and
Trading Standards, to determine the final form of and the
entering into of the new contracts
referred to in paragraph 1 above and the arrangements for securing
continuity of services under 2 above.
